The 2021 Legal 500 rankings were announced last week and we are delighted to announce that a record number of Farleys’ lawyers have been included in the latest edition.
19 solicitors have been recognised in their individual areas of work alongside nine teams who have also been ranked.
Every year the Legal 500, an internationally recognised legal directory, analyses law firms across the world to produce the Legal 500 rankings. The results take into consideration a number of factors following a strict criterion.
Farleys have been included in the UK solicitors’ rankings for many years and have seen a significantly increased presence over the past few years leading to this year’s record rankings.
Partners Jonathan Bridge and Paul Schofield, heads of the firm’s Abuse and Inquests, and Fraud and Business Crime departments respectively, have been ranked as Leading Individuals.
Associate Partner and member of Paul’s Fraud and Business Crime team, Bridgette Hibbert, has been ranked as a Next Generation Partner.
Laura Walmsley (Fraud and Business Crime), Jonathan Taylor (Crime), Debbie King (Corporate), Charlotte Mills (Corporate), Ian Liddle (Commercial Property), Tom O’Neill (Commercial Property), Stephen Greenwood (Commercial Property), Kieran O’Connor (Commercial Litigation), Daniel Draper (Commercial Litigation), Rachel Harrison (Commercial Litigation), Rebecca Fairclough (Commercial Litigation), Mark Hague (Corporate Insolvency), Michael Corrigan (Personal Injury), Nick Molyneux (Personal Injury), Antonia Love (Family) and Barry Bunyan (Family), have all been listed as Recommended Lawyers.
As well as our individual lawyer rankings, our Fraud and Business Crime team has also been ranked in tier 1 for Crime: Fraud.
In tier 2 are our Corporate and Commercial (North West), General Crime, Personal Injury (Claimant) and Family teams. Meanwhile, our Commercial Litigation (North West), Commercial Property (North West), and Sport teams have received tier 3 rankings and our Commercial Litigation (Manchester) team were ranked in tier 6.
Ian Liddle, Managing Partner at Farleys, commented,
We are pleased to have been included in the Legal 500 rankings, once again, and to have received some excellent feedback from our clients and business contacts. The Legal 500 rankings showcase the best of the best in terms of legal services and we are proud as a local law firm to be recognised year after year for the hard work we put into assisting our clients with solutions to a wide range of legal matters.
In particular, this year we have shown that our dedication to the provision of our legal services has remained undeterred by current events.
