The firm has been ever expanding since its beginnings in 1958 and now spans across six offices in Greater Manchester and Lancashire (Blackburn, Preston, Manchester, Shadsworth, Burnley, and Accrington), employing more than 140 members of staff.

Legal Assistant/Assistant Solicitor - Manchester

Farleys Solicitors are looking to recruit a Legal Assistant or newly qualified solicitor to work alongside a Partner on a permanent, full time basis in our highly regarded Abuse & Inquests team in Manchester.

Ranked in both Chambers and the Legal 500, our team has gained a national reputation acting for victims of abuse, human rights act claims, fatal accidents, civil claims following inquests, and claims against Local Authorities

The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, an interest in working for a legal firm, and be proactive and personable. The work will be varied and range from maintaining a limitations diary through to attending appointments with clients and counsel and would suit a recent law graduate through to a NQ solicitor with an interest in this challenging area of work

Ideally you will have;
• Excellent organisational skills
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work as part of a team
• Excellent typing skills
• A thoroughness and attention to detail
