What We Can Offer You

With our continued expansion comes a range of training opportunities enabling our trainee solicitors to experience many different practice areas before deciding which direction to take their career in.

Our training contract programme offers four seats across a wide selection of our practice areas, including civil litigation, personal injury, family, property, corporate and commercial, and dispute resolution, amongst others. The seats are offered across all of our North West offices.

There are fantastic long-term prospects we can offer you a supportive environment to flourish in. Our awards winning training programme also continues to be part of our long-term strategy for growing talent and fostering ‘Farleys people’ from within

My training contract at Farleys was both challenging and rewarding in equal measures.  It was a great opportunity to work alongside different solicitors from other offices and departments across the firm. I quickly came to realise that my colleagues had a wealth of knowledge and experience in their respective areas of work and were great to learn from.  I learned so many essential lessons from my colleagues during my training contract which have helped me become the solicitor I am today and I am proud to be able to continue my legal career here at Farleys – Jade Jump

“Having lived and worked in Lancashire for most of my adult life, choosing which firm to do my training contract with was very important to me.

I wanted to train with a local firm and Farleys had a fantastic reputation for its training contracts, not to mention its down-to-earth working environment which made me feel completely at ease on my first day. I had the opportunity to work closely with the partners who provided constant support and assistance, and from the start I felt like I was a recognised and valuable member of the team.

My training contract was insightful and challenging but I never felt as though I was struggling on my own, and help was always on hand if I ever needed it. I thoroughly enjoyed training, and since qualifying I am very much looking forward to progressing my career with Farleys further.” – Jodi Oosthuizen
