Acted for the claimant company in an action for damages against a former director for losses sustained as a result of breaches of fiduciary duties. The claim was settled for a substantial sum including costs at formal mediation.

Farleys acted for the Defendant in successfully striking out a claim brought in the High Court of Justice. The claim was for damages of £200,000 for an alleged conversion of company shares. The case was struck out with the Claimant being ordered to pay the Defendant’s costs

Farleys successfully acted for the Claimant in a multi-track claim heard at Worcester County Court. The Claimant was further successful in having the counterclaim dismissed and being awarded a costs order against a non-party to proceedings.

Successfully pursued a claim for breach of contract on behalf of the Claimant in the Mercantile Court pleaded in excess of £130,000 while defending a counterclaim in excess of £200,000.
