He later joined Farleys as a trainee in 2006 after obtaining a law degree from the University of Manchester and a distinction from the College of Law, qualified as a Solicitor in 2008, became an Associate Partner in 2013 and currently heads up the firm’s commercial team in Preston, being promoted to Partner in 2018.
Experienced in all types of commercial work, with a particular focus on commercial property transactions Stephen regularly handles acquisitions and disposals of property, leases, development work, secured finance for lenders and a full range of commercial contracts. Praised as ‘proactive, efficient and reliable’ and ‘driving the deal through to completion’ he can be relied upon to work with clients to get the job done.
Stephen was a finalist in the Lancashire Business View Young’uns Awards’ in 2015, in recognition of having ‘built up an impressive client base including residential and commercial property investors, lenders, and business owners from across the North West’. He was also a finalist in the Insider Young Professionals Awards 2019.
Stephen sits on the Rock FM Cash for Kids local executive board to help consider applications for funding to the charity which supports children living across Lancashire. In his spare time he plays football, ice hockey, works on his allotment and helps out his local scout group as ‘Gunner’.
