Kieran O’Connor

Partner

Studying Law at the University of Manchester, Kieran gained his degree in 1981. Completing his finals in 1982 at the Chester College of Law, Kieran joined Farleys the following year as a trainee.

In 1985 Kieran was admitted to the Law Society, and was taken on by the firm as an Assistant Solicitor specialising in Personal Injury in its busy Civil Litigation department. Kieran’s hard work and talent paid off in 1991 when he was promoted to Partner.

In 1999 he was awarded a Masters in Advanced Litigation by Nottingham Law School, for which he also got a distinction. This preceded his ambition to launch a Commercial Litigation section of Farleys Commercial Law department in 2001.

Since then Kieran’s client base has swelled, and the department has gone from strength to strength. Kieran specialises in partnership disputes, commercial agents regulations, contract disputes and injunctions.

Kieran is also a registered member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (CTAPS), regularly dealing with matters involving disputed wills and inheritance.

What people say about Kieran

"The litigation was very complex and the outcome was always going to be complicated. Kieran was very professional and able to grasp all the complex issues. This I find a most unusual trait, and was very pleased with his handling of our case. The end result was better than I expected. Thank you once again." - Sam Richardson, MD - GB Joinery Limited
