Farleys have helped to raise over £1400 for East Lancashire Hospice through participation in the hospice’s ‘Will Week’. The event, which took place between 1st and 5th November 2010, allows people to obtain a solicitor drafted Will in return for a donation to the hospice.
In addition to the amount raised in donations throughout the week, the hospice has also been bequeathed legacies in a number of the Wills drafted.
Wills and Probate Partner, Phil Taylor, commented:
“We were delighted to offer our services and participate in the East Lancashire Hospice Will Week. It is a fantastic cause and one that we are more than happy to donate our time to.
“Having practiced within Wills and Probate for over 20 years, I am a firm believer in the need to leave a Will to make sure loved ones are cared for upon death and estates can be divided without dispute and according to the deceased’s wishes.
“Astonishingly, it is still estimated that 2 out of 3 adults in the UK do not have a Will. Will Week schemes help to raise the profile of making a Will – another reason we once again were keen to support this annual event”.
