This Easter, Farleys are helping SAMS, CB Partners and the Energy Zone to collect donations of chocolate and Easter eggs to be given to vulnerable children, teens and families in the local community.
The Easter Challenge appeal is launching on Monday 27th February 2017 and will run until the donation deadline on Friday 24th March 2017, allowing time for the donations to be distributed to families around Lancashire before the Easter weekend.
We are running a collection point for donations from our Blackburn office where donations can be dropped off during our regular opening hours (Monday to Friday – 9am-5pm).
Farleys helped SAMS in collaboration with the Energy Zone back in December when we became a collection point for their Christmas Wishes appeal which sought donations of Christmas gifts for local families who couldn’t afford presents for their children. The appeal was a great success which is why we are happy to lend a hand this time to the Easter Challenge and are sure the local community will once again rise to the occasion.
Sometimes we can be so busy in our lives that we forget to stop and think about those who are perhaps less fortunate than ourselves. While buying a small Easter egg may be easy for us, for others, that money can be the difference in heating their home or buying medicine for their children.
If you can spare a moment to pick up an extra egg or some chocolate when you’re at the shops and would like to donate it towards this great cause, please feel free to drop it off at Farleys Solicitors Blackburn. For more information about the Easter Challenge, please contact marketing@farleys.com.
