Emma is a partner in Farleys’ family team, based at our East Lancashire office in Padiham, Burnley.
Emma is a leading family law specialist with extensive experience in representing parents and extended family members in the most complex and sensitive children matters. Emma’s work includes public law care proceedings involving allegations of sexual abuse, non-accidental injuries, emotional harm, and deprivation of liberty, as well as urgent medical and safeguarding decisions for vulnerable children. She also has experience of representing parties in matters involving historic and contested allegations, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and the navigation of overlapping criminal and family law issues.
In private law, Emma represents parents and grandparents in disputes over child arrangements, enforcement and variation of court orders, and the restoration of family relationships after periods of estrangement or disruption.
Emma’s approach combines technical expertise, compassion, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients in challenging circumstances.
