Request A CallbackEmma is a partner in Farleys’ family team, based at our Blackburn office. Emma started her legal career over ten years ago working in Family law, she began studying for her LLB (Hons) degree at UCLAN part time, successfully gaining her degree in 2013. She then went on to continue her studies and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Emma spent over six successful years working in private practice in Manchester specialising in a niche area of criminal law. In 2021 she joined Farleys to restart her work in family law.
Emma specialises in representing parents in pre-proceedings, care proceedings cases involving sexual abuse and non-accidental injuries, Deprivation of Liberty and matters relating to Special Guardianship Orders. Emma has a great deal of expertise in dealing with all aspects of children matters, regularly representing parties in often complex proceedings issued before the Court. Emma also takes instructions in private law disputes on behalf of parents and grandparents.
