Paul qualified in 1987 and operated his own successful small firm in Rossendale for many years before joining forces with Farleys in 2023.

Paul has spent his entire career representing accident victims in their claims for personal injury compensation.

He has extensive experience in serious motorcycle accident claims, cycling accident claims and workplace accident claims.

Paul has represented clients throughout England and Wales, with many clients in the London area in particular, and has always been happy to travel to see clients at home when required.

Paul also has thirty years’ experience in the niche area of representing injured footballers in claims for damages following serious injuries caused by reckless challenges. Paul has successfully represented over a hundred injured players in football injury claims.

Paul describes the proudest moments of his professional career as the occasions where he successfully represented successful claimants after other firms had advised there was no case; one of those cases was a £600,000 settlement for an injured motorcyclist in the Bury area who had been advised not to go ahead by two national law firms.

In addition to personal injury work, Paul is also very experienced in solicitors’ negligence claims, particularly negligence in personal injury claims.

Away from the office Paul spends time with his family, helps out with Rossendale Rays Special Needs Sports Club and spends as much time as possible on a mountain bike.
