Freya Aughton

Litigation Executive

Freya joined Farleys in February 2024 as a Litigation Executive in our Actions Against Detaining Authorities Department in Burnley. She began her Paralegal Apprenticeship in March 2025 and will complete this to become a qualified Paralegal in 2026. She assists the team with abuse claims, including civil claims against local authorities, where children have been abused or neglected in care, and historic abuse claims against local authorities.

Prior to joining Farleys, Freya graduated with a first class degree from the University of Salford where she studied Theatre and Performance Practice, before travelling the world with her partner for 6 months. Outside of work Freya enjoys travelling to new countries, as well as being outdoors and spending time with her friends and family.
