The Legal 500 is the leading guide to law firms and lawyers across the world, assessing the strengths of law firms in over 100 jurisdictions. The research is based on feedback from more than 250,000 clients worldwide.
Following comprehensive research over a wide range of practice areas, Farleys’ legal experts have been ranked and recommended across a number of legal specialisms across the North West.
The firm’s Crime team have been recognised as ‘Top Tier’ for their work in the criminal law field, with rankings in both fraud and general criminal defence. The team have held this accolade for over 15 years, and are said to be ‘in the premier league; the hardworking and totally professional team puts clients first and the quality of the team’s work is second to none’. Head of the team Paul Schofield has again been ranked as a ‘Leading Individual’, with Associate Partner Bridgette Hibbert as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’.
The firm’s Personal Injury team continue to receive excellent recommendation in the guide, as providing an ‘excellent service to clients and its cases are meticulously prepared’, with Partner Nick Molyneux described as ‘very organised and effective’. Speaking of the firm’s specialist Abuse and Inquests department,’ the enormously experienced team is in the very top drawer not just in the North West but nationally. It is at the forefront of developing this area of law’. Head of the team, Jonathan Bridge continues to be named as a ‘Leading Individual’, having ‘superb judgement and takes a very sensitive approach to his clients. The feedback on the firm’s Commercial team has again been excellent, with rankings across Corporate & Commercial, Commercial Property and Commercial Litigation. Partners Ian Liddle and Debbie King are described as ‘straight-talking, honest and efficient’, and ‘brilliant’ respectively.
