Former Farleys’ trainee Katie Fox has completed her training programme and qualified as a Solicitor, successfully landing a role within the firm’s nationally acclaimed Abuse and Inquests department.
Katie first joined Farleys in March 2014 as a Litigation Executive. She impressed her team so much she was recommended for a place on Farleys’ award winning training programme. Katie began her training contract in September 2016 and undertook a number of seats within several departments gaining invaluable experience over two years.
Upon qualification in September 2018, Katie was offered a role within our Abuse and Inquests department based out of our Burnley office.
“I am very proud to have qualified as a Solicitor and to have secured a position within the Abuse and Inquests Department at Farleys ,” Katie commented. “During my time at Farleys, after starting as a Legal Executive and progressing to Trainee Solicitor, I have gained valuable experience through the help and support of all my colleagues.”
She added,
I could not imagine starting my career as a qualified Solicitor anywhere else and I am honoured to be working with such a great team.
Paul Corrigan, Abuse Solicitor and Partner at Farleys commented,
“Farleys are fully committed to supporting and nurturing talent in helping individuals progress through the ranks at the firm. Katie has continued to be an excellent and valued member of the team here in Burnley and we could quickly see her potential when she joined as a Litigation Executive. We are now looking forward to welcoming her as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court”
Like Katie, many of our trainees have gone on to take up permanent roles across the firm upon completion of their training contracts; in fact, almost all of Farleys’ current equity partners trained at the firm so the opportunity for progression is clear.
