We are thrilled to announce that a member of our commercial litigation team has been shortlisted for a prestigious regional award.
Rachel Harrison, who has been with the firm for five years, is up for the Young Professional of the Year award at Lancashire Business View’s Sub36 awards.
The awards celebrate the best young talent in Lancashire across a range of business sectors and specialisms. This is the second time Rachel has been shortlisted for these awards having been runner up last year.
Born and bred in Lancashire, Rachel prides herself on her roots within the county and strives to work within the local business community to help resolve a wide variety of commercial disputes.
Rachel’s expertise has been recognised amongst colleagues and clients alike with many commenting on her dedication, communication and compassion displayed in each and every case.
On the news of being nominated for a Sub36 award, Rachel commented;
I am so pleased to have been shortlisted for the Sub36 awards as they focus on Lancashire talent and Lancashire is such a great place to live and work in. I work hard within the community and spend time networking with local business people so I am on hand should they need, or know someone who needs, advice regarding commercial disputes. To have my dedication recognised would be an excellent way to finish my fifth year with Farleys.
Kieran O’Connor, head of Farleys’ commercial litigation department added;
“I have always found Rachel to be tenacious in her approach, whilst always maintaining a down-to-earth attitude to balance this and effectively communicate with clients and professionals alike. This nomination is an excellent recognition of this and her contribution to Farleys’ so far!”
The results of the Sub36 awards will be announced at an award ceremony on Thursday 18th October following a stringent interview process and we would like to wish Rachel and all the other finalists the best of luck!
