Olympic fever hit Blackburn this week as staff at East Lancashire law firm Farleys donned their Union Jack outfits. The firm, who have offices in Blackburn (staff pictured), Burnley, Accrington and Manchester, wore their red, white and blue for a day to celebrate Team GB’s greatest success at the games in over 100 years.
Michael Corrigan, Partner at Farleys Solicitors in Blackburn commented:
“Along with the rest of the country, many of our staff have been swept along with Olympic fever and we wanted to do a little something to celebrate the achievements of our Olympians, some of whom hail from not too far away!
“I myself am going to be attending three days of the Paralymic games, which I am looking forward to enormously. Watching athletes at the peak of their career is one thing, but witnessing individuals who have overcome a tremendous amount of adversity, yet still put themselves forward to compete for their country, is something we should all be proud of.
“Many of the clients I represent have been left disabled after being involved in terrible accidents, so this is an event very close to my heart”.
