Farleys Solicitors are delighted to announce sponsorship of a charity challenge that will see participants travel to Cuba to compete for a Challenge Cup – all in aid of a local children’s charity. Organisers behind the Children Today Challenge Cup, sponsored by the PFA, are hoping to make this year’s event bigger than ever to raise much needed funds for specialist equipment for disabled children.
The biannual event, which has been supported by headline sponsor the PFA for the past 10 years, sees ex-soccer legends along with fundraisers travel to a different destination each year to participate in a series of challenges; all in the hope of winning the Challenge Cup. Previous destinations have included Borneo, South Africa, Malaysia and the previous trip to the Grand Canyon in 2013, which alone raised in excess of £150,000.
The Cuba Challenge Cup, taking place between 6th and 14th June 2015, will include challenges such as a treasure hunt through Old Havana, trekking in the Western Cuban countryside, an 800m zipline course and salsa dancing in the city!
Registration for the event is only £199. For more information on how to get involved, please see the Cuba Challenge Cup information, which has full details of the itinerary, or contact Liz Oakes at Children Today on 01244 335 622.
