Farleys were named ‘Law Firm of the Year’ last week at the 2012 Red Rose Awards. The awards, organised by business magazine Lancashire Business View, celebrate the very best in Lancashire business and enterprise. Farleys were awarded the prestigious title at a ceremony held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on 15th March; beating rival firms Brabners Chaffe Street, Marsden Rawsthorn, Napthens, and Harrison Drury.
Farleys were judged as winners of the award following the submission of a written nomination and an intense round of interviews, during which each short-listed firm was interviewed by a panel of judges. Judges commented on firm’s continued growth and the way we have “aligned departments to meet the demands of an ever changing market”.
Ian Liddle, Partner at Farleys Solicitors commented on the award win:
“The past twelve months have been challenging for the legal sector; but despite this we have continued to grow including significantly expanding our office in Manchester city centre . We have also made a number of significant improvements to our infrastructure to ensure we are able to continue delivering high standards of client service.
“The ethos of the Red Rose Awards lies in recognising and promoting the success of local businesses and in turn, strengthening the Lancashire business community. As a firm with roots very firmly held in Lancashire, this recognition means a great deal to us.”
