Lexcel Accreditation, Farleys SolicitorsFarleys Solicitors LLP has been accredited with the national Law Society’s management and quality service mark, Lexcel. Farleys is a large well respected generalist practice with six offices in Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley and Manchester city centre.

The Lexcel quality standard is developed specifically for the legal profession. It is an optional, recognised accreditation scheme for law firms giving assurance that the practice meets high client care and business management standards. Accreditation is achieved and maintained by undergoing a rigorous initial assessment including background checks and on site visits from an experienced, trained Lexcel assessor and annual assessments thereafter.

Equity partner Stephen McNeill, commented: “While Farleys are proud to have achieved accreditation, it is our clients and staff who are the main beneficiaries. They can be assured that the way we manage the practice has their interests at heart and runs efficiently. There is a lot of choice in the legal services market, but being Lexcel accredited demonstrates to existing and prospective clients Farleys’ continued commitment to high standards of client care.”

John Wooton, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: “Achieving Lexcel accreditation proves a serious commitment to the continual development of the practice’s management standards.  By implementing policies, plans and procedures within Lexcel’s key areas, such as client service and risk management, practices can show the positive steps they are taking to help clients in the increasingly diverse, complicated and competitive legal market. Lexcel acts as a beacon of quality to clients and potential clients alike.”
