Farleys’ Criminal Law & Business Crime department have begun the year with a strong start having been shortlisted for ‘Team of the Year’ at the prestigious Manchester Legal Awards. The annual event held by the Manchester Law Society and the Manchester Evening News is firmly established in the legal calendar, bringing recognition to the local talent the region has to offer. This is the second consecutive year the department has been shortlisted for the award.
Entries for the Manchester Legal Awards were reviewed by a panel of esteemed judges from the legal, business and financial sector. The award for ‘Team of the Year – Crime/Regulatory’ will be decided following an interview with the judges; with the winner being announced at glamorous gala dinner on Thursday 5th March, held at the Midland Hotel.
This shortlisting is the latest in a long list of achievements for the Criminal Law & Fraud and Business Crime team, with the department having achieved top rankings in the accredited legal guides Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500.
