Ian LAs official sponsors of Blackburn Beer Festival, Farleys are pleased to announce that this year’s event raised a momentous £30,000 for local charity Blackburn Youth Zone. Returning for a second year by popular demand the three day long fundraising event showcased the finest ales and craft brews sourced from all over the North West.

Held at Blackburn Rugby Club, the venue was transformed into thriving festival with live musical entertainment and rugby matches. Overall the weekend was a resounding success with a couple of our very own solicitors even joining in with the festivities, showcasing their top pint pulling skills!

Ian Liddle comment on the event’s success: “Once again we have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this year’s event, it’s been fantastic to see the local businesses and community come together for what has been a brilliant weekend.
“The organisers have exceeded all expectations in helping to raise such an incredible amount for a truly deserving cause. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!”

All proceeds raised by the festival will go directly to Blackburn Youth Zone. Blackburn Youth Zone is a Lancashire charity that helps to change the lives of vulnerable children and young adults within the local community. The money raised will go towards funding future projects and activities for children aged 8 to 18 years with aim of helping them to achieve a brighter future.
