Trainee Solicitor Awarded Prize

Congratulations are due to Katy Parkinson – trainee solicitor currently working in our Actions Against Detaining Authorities department.

Katy, who has been studying for her Legal Practice Course (LPC) part time alongside working full time, has achieved a distinction in the course, which she completed at UCLan.

In addition, Katy was also awarded a special prize – The Backhouse Jones Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Employment Law. This is especially commendable as Katy has never undertaken any work in our employment law department!
