cakerySeptember 25th saw the return of our fabulous fashion fundraiser in aid of Rosemere Cancer Foundation. This year focusing on Autumn/Winder trends, what is now becoming an annual event was once again hosted at high end boutique, Sunday Best in Rawtenstall. Guests enjoyed a taster of the latest catwalk trends and an exclusive shopping experience of the latest must have pieces. The evening proved a resounding success raising just over £1,500 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Attended by 50 business women across Lancashire and the North West, attendees enjoyed a wonderful evening of shopping and bubbly, as well as catwalk presentation led by Jill Pollit. With an impressive back catalogue of styling experience – having previously worked with a number of leading fashion stylists including Gok Wan – Jill put on a show that every lady in the audience enjoyed. Showcasing the latest catwalk trends for the season, Jill’s selection of pieces from the Autumn /Winter range showed the audience how to tailor the look for all body shapes and ages.

In addition to the excitement of the runway show, there was a prize draw which featured a number of fabulous spa packages and treats generously provided by the hosts and a number of Lancashire businesses. Raffle prizes for the event were kindly donated by Sunday Best, Stanley House Hotel & Spa, Chapel Spa, Kings Chambers, Claxton Hair, i-florist, Bamboo, Handelsbanken, and Posh Nailz.

Partner and Head of Family Law Antonia Love commented on the evening’s success:

“We’re delighted with the amount raised for Rosemere Cancer Foundation. They’re such a deserving charity making a truly wonderful difference to all those sadly affected by cancer. This evening was a great way to help raise much needed funds for local cancer patients and it was fabulous to catch up with so many of our contacts in the area.”

Dan Hill, Rosemere’s East Lancs Area Fundraising Coordinator: “We are tremendously grateful to the team at Farleys Solicitors LLP for their continued generous support. Their ongoing fundraising efforts help to ensure world class cancer treatment is delivered as close to home as possible for patients in world class facilities across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Monies raised from this fabulous event will go towards the Rosemere Burnley Chemotherapy Unit Appeal which will help to provide a state of the art facility at Burnley General Hospital.”
