The private client team at Farleys will be taking part in Will Week, a campaign to raise vital funds for East Lancashire Hospice.

The campaign will see a number of solicitor’s firms waive their usual fees for the drafting of basic wills and mirror wills in return for a donation to the charity. The suggested donation for a basic will is £100 with a mirrored will being £175 but clients may donate more if they wish to.

This campaign is a great way of reminding people of the importance of ensuring they have a will in place to protect their assets should the worst happen, while also raising funds for a worthy cause.

East Lancashire Hospice has provided care and support for people suffering from life limiting illnesses throughout Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington and Clitheroe, for over 35 years. From its inpatient unit in Blackburn, the charity offers palliative services ranging from medical provision and physiotherapy to counselling and wellbeing activities.

Farleys’ private client team has taken part in East Lancashire Hospice’s Will Week for many years as part of the firm’s extensive CSR programme, supporting local charities and causes, and we are delighted to be taking part once again.

Wills Week will take place between Monday 24th January and Friday 28th January 2022. To book an appointment under the scheme, simply call Farleys Solicitors on 01254 367 854 and quote “East Lancashire Hospice Will Week”. Please note: appointments do not have to take place during this period, you simply have to book your appointment during this time.

As has been the case in previous years, it is expected that appointments will book up fast so book your appointment now to avoid disappointment.
