Farleys Solicitors have made the next move in the firm’s growth plans, expanding their regional footprint with the acquisition of Mulderrigs Solicitors.
Based in Rawtenstall, Rossendale for over 20 years, Mulderrigs specialise in serious injury and professional negligence claims. The acquisition, which will see Mulderrigs continuing as a trading name of Farleys, and all employees remaining, adds to the firm’s existing expertise and also brings a wider full-service legal offering to Rawtenstall and the wider Rossendale borough.
The move takes Farleys to seven offices across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, and broadens the firm’s existing presence and office footprint in Lancashire, of which they have been part of the local community, for over 65 years.
This is the first acquisition for Farleys since becoming the second firm to join the Lawfront group in October of last year.
Paul Mulderrig, Director at Mulderrigs said:
“We are delighted to be joining forces with Farleys. It is great to be joining a forward-thinking team of people, with a culture that already fits our existing ethos and values.
“With access to a wider range of services and resources and the well-recognised brand of Farleys, we look forward to growing our own professional family here in Rawtenstall to continue looking after our clients and their families, and the wider business community across Rossendale.”
Ian Liddle, Managing Partner at Farleys added:
This is a great opportunity for Farleys and will unlock many opportunities as we look to build upon the existing well-known brand and quality service that is already associated with the Mulderrigs name in the local community.
“We are continuing to invest in a number of key appointments and service areas which is indicative of our plan to increase presence across the region and grow our firm.
“The team at Mulderrigs share our down to earth values, deliver straightforward legal advice and we look forward to working together successfully.”
