Farleys Solicitors hosted a cosy evening of retail therapy for guests at Preston Golf Club to raise money for CancerHelp Preston.

The return of the North West law firm’s annual event brought together a selection of local stallholders selling food and gifts to guests alongside a hotpot supper and charity raffle.

All ticket sales, raffle ticket sales, and donations from stallholders in place of a pitch fee have made up a total of £2,511 raised on the night.

The proceeds from the night have been match-funded by the firm’s charitable foundation, the Farleys Foundation, making a grand total of £5,022 donated to CancerHelp Preston.

Farleys’ partner Antonia Love commented,

“We were so pleased to be able to host this fantastic event again, after having to take a break last year due to covid restrictions, and have been overwhelmed by the support of our stallholders and guests. It was great to get everyone back together to buy some lovely Christmas gifts from our stallholders, many of whom were local Lancashire businesses.

“We are already looking forward to making next year’s event even better so watch this space! CancerHelp is such a worthy cause and they are doing brilliant work in Preston and the surrounding areas so we’re proud to be able to support them.”

Rachel Mallett, Treasurer at CancerHelp Preston commented,

Thank you so much to Farleys and their guests and stallholders for raising this money for CancerHelp Preston. The money will go towards a renovation of the lounge at our Vine House premises to make it a nice and welcoming space for our clients and their families.

We are so grateful for all of the money continuing to be raised by our supporters, including Farleys, which helps us keep our vital services running, even through these challenging times.
