Chambers and Partners, an independent research company in the legal sector, has released its latest guide and rankings for 2022.

We are pleased to say the firm has maintained its excellent rankings for a number of department and individuals. Our Crime and Financial Crime departments have maintained a Band 1 ranking, with recognition for head of department Paul Schofield and Associate Partner Bridgette Hibbert as notable practitioners.

Paul has been described as “highly skilled at handling complex financial crime investigations by the SFO and HMRC among others. He regularly assists clients facing allegations of bribery, fraud and money laundering.”

Comments include, “He understands clients’ needs and puts their minds to rest, and plots a path through the case” and “He provides a high level of client care.”

Bridgette Hibbert is “adept at handling a wide range of financial crime matters with particular expertise in fraud and confiscation proceedings.”

We have been ranked in Band 3 for Personal Injury: Mainly Claimant and Jonathan Bridge has been noted as a recommended lawyer. A contact interviewed for the guide commented, “My experience of working with Jonathan is entirely positive. He prioritises his clients’ needs with sensitivity and insight and is strongly motivated to achieve the best outcome possible for them.”

Our family and matrimonial department has also been ranked in Band 3 once again with Partner Antonia Love being recognised as a notable practitioner.
