Blackburn Incorporated Law Association’s (BiLA) annual dinner took place at Ewood Park, the home of Blackburn Rovers, on Friday the 7th February 2020. With the help of some of the Farleys’ team, the event brought together over 130 legal professionals from across the region.
A delicious dinner was enjoyed and a live band provided the entertainment to guests while they mingled with old friends and reflected on the past year.
As well as the chance to socialise, there was also a serious point of the event, to raise as much as we could for the BiLA’s chosen charity which this year was East Lancashire Hospice who support all patients with palliative care needs across our region.
Following the final count by the Hospice, we are extremely pleased to announce that the BiLA Annual Dinner 2020 has raised £1,120.
Antonia Love, partner at Farleys Solicitors commented,
“We are so pleased to have been able to support East Lancashire Hospice in raising so much money for such a worthwhile cause. We know that without charitable donations such as these, the Hospice is not able to achieve all it does for those in our region who need their services most. The BiLA dinner was a great success. We are already looking forward to the next one!”
Jennifer Quinn, Fundraising Lead at the Hospice said,
To be supported by such an established and prestigious group like the BiLA is an honour for the Hospice. The monies raised by everyone’s generosity on the evening will make a big difference for patients in our area.
