North West law firm, Farleys Solicitors, has added to its expertise within the criminal defence department at its Preston office, as solicitor Samuel Hinds has become a qualified duty solicitor.

Samuel joined the firm in 2022, shortly after completing his training contract with a specialist road traffic defence firm. Samuel has since extended his practice to include general crime up to and including serious fraud and serious crime cases while also continuing to act for clients in motoring offences cases. Samuel has also carved specialisms within dangerous dogs cases and RSPCA prosecutions as well as with regulatory cases involving the sale of vapes.

Alongside his work at Farleys, Samuel has been studying for his police station accreditation, and court duty accreditation securing the duty solicitor qualification in July 2024.

Samuel commented,

I am delighted that I have achieved this qualification and I look forward furthering my career in such a reputable firm of solicitors in the north west and hope to continue to gain valuable experience.
