Solicitor Zoe Loo has joined Farleys from the company and commercial department at a firm in Hertfordshire.
Zoe, a fluent Malay and Mandarin speaker, began her legal career in Malaysia before joining a firm in Singapore working in a family law department for three years. She moved to the UK in 2021 and passed the Qualified Lawyer Transfer Scheme on her first sitting.
Zoe is keen to use her expertise to assist businesses across the North West with particular focus on business owners within the prominent Chinese and Malaysian communities in Manchester.
She is able to assist with a wide variety of corporate and commercial law matters and takes a hands-on approach with corporate transactions, group restructures, commercial and business contracts, terms and conditions, share buybacks and share transfers, shareholders agreements and articles of association, company start-ups and formations.
I am thrilled to be here and have been made to feel so welcome by everyone at Farleys. I look forward to continuing to learn and working closely with my new colleagues.
Zoe’s new team at Farleys in Manchester is headed up by Partner Richard Bell, who added,
“Zoe is a fantastic addition to the Farleys corporate team. She brings good corporate and commercial law expertise and her down to earth approach fits the ethos of Farleys perfectly. The demand for corporate law services is strong so we’re pleased to continue to offer a high level of service to our clients with the addition of Zoe to the team.”
