Farleys Solicitors have been recognised as a leading law firm in the UK by inclusion in this year’s Legal 500. Farleys were recognised for general crime and serious crime, with partner Paul Schofield receiving a special mention for the firm’s Serious Case Unit (SCU) department, it was announced last week.
The Legal 500 directory is a benchmark for firms in the legal sector, and is widely regarded as offering the definitive judgement on the capabilities of a law firm. A new version of the directory is released each year, being complied using a combination of interviews with solicitors and recommendations from clients and legal industry peers.
On the Legal 500 recommendation, Partner Paul Schofield commented:
“We are very pleased that our work has been recognised in this important publication. The fact that entry and rank is based on client recommendations and comments from peers in the legal profession makes this a very well received entry”.
“Along with our Chambers and Partners entries, where we have been recommended for the past seven years, the Legal 500 entry is a great achievement and certainly highlights Farleys as one of the leading legal firms in the North West”.
