Farleys’ Abuse Claims team has been shortlisted for the “Innovation of the Year Award” at the Modern Claim Awards 2015. The prestigious new awards celebrate the achievements of companies in/working with the sector of personal injury claims and after an overwhelming response and number of entries, the final shortlist was announced this week.
The innovation of the year category awards companies’ development of new initiatives or technology to aid growth or client service. To this end, Farleys have been recognised for their recent developments aimed at helping victims of sexual, physical, and psychological abuse. In December 2014, the firm’s abuse claims department launched an innovative new project that allows victims of abuse to contact the firm through an anonymous online chat facility.
The service works by connecting abuse victims directly to experienced lawyers allowing them to gain immediate access to legal advice in an environment they feel safe and comfortable in. The chat facility has broken ground in the delivery of services to new clients, allowing them to overcome the initial difficulty of speaking out about traumatic past events. Since the launch of the service the firm has witnessed a positive response, with the clinic running each Thursday between 5pm-7pm.
The winner of ‘Innovation of the Year‘ will be announced along with the other categories at Modern Claim Awards 2015 an esteemed ceremony held on the 20th April 2015 at New Dock Hall Leeds.
This latest award nomination for Farleys’ Abuse Claims team follows recent praise for the Personal Injury Departments as a whole in both the Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 guides to the legal profession, both of which ranked Farleys amongst the leading firms for personal injury claims in the North West.
