Former Army Cadet Officer, Walker has been convicted following a 7 day trial of 10 charges of indecent assault and 2 charges of gross indecency with boys under 16 years old.

Following a jury trial at Burnley Crown Court, Walker was found guilty of molesting two boys under his command whilst he was a Lieutenant with Burnley and Padiham Cadets in the 1970s.

During the course of the trial, Walker now 79 living in Plymouth, was said to have had “power and authority” over his alleged victims, which he had used to carry out a range of sexual abuse and misconduct.

Walker was convicted despite the fact that when he was interviewed about the alleged offences in February 2015 and October 2016 he had firmly denied that there had been any sexual activity.

Walker will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on the 19th June 2017.
