Premier Tooling Systems, a long-standing client of Farleys, have been announced as one of this year’s recipients of the Queen’s Award for International Trade. The Accrington based firm has been engineering and supplying parts to the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Healthcare, and Packaging industries for over 50 years. The family-run business specialises in tooling design for radio frequency welding, heat sealing, vacuum forming, jigs and fixtures.

Premier Tooling Systems are among 30 businesses in the North West to have been honoured in the nationwide list of 220 recipients who are now able to display the Queen’s award badge for 5 years.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is an annual awards programme which has been running since 1966 and recognises businesses and organisations who excel at international trade, innovation or sustainable development. They are the highest official UK awards for British businesses.

Farleys Partner and head of the firm’s corporate team, Debbie King, commented,

It has been great to work with them over the years and I am pleased the business is continuing to thrive and they have been recognised for that.”

In celebrating this award, I would like to take this opportunity of thanking my family, friends, staff, customers and suppliers. This is the most prestigious business award in the country which acknowledges the hard work the team have put in over the previous years.
