North West law firm Farleys Solicitors hosted the return of their annual St Patrick’s Day fundraising event at Holmes Mill, Clitheroe on Friday 11th March.

The event, which has been running for more than 15 years, brings together over 150 businesses and friends of the firm to network alongside a charity auction and raffle raising funds for Rock FM’s Cash for Kids. The charity supports disabled and disadvantaged children across Lancashire.

The St Patrick’s Day themed event received dozens of prize donations from guests and supporters, including football tickets, theatre packages, spa vouchers and signed memorabilia, which contributed to a total of £6,500 being raised throughout the afternoon. This total is almost double the amount raised in previous years.

Ian Liddle, Managing Partner at Farleys commented,

“We were delighted to be able to host our St Patrick’s Day fundraiser again this year after an enforced hiatus due to the pandemic. It’s become a hugely popular event offering a great opportunity to catch up with friends; enjoying good company, great food, and a Guinness or two.

“Alongside this, our guests are incredibly generous in supporting our fundraising efforts for Cash for Kids, a charity we have been supporting for many years, and to raise a record-breaking figure this year is fantastic. Like many charities, Cash for Kids has faced challenges over the past two years so we are hoping these funds can go some way to assisting them in continuing the vital work they do.”

Rosalina Lobo, Charity Manager at Cash for Kids added,

On behalf of Cash for Kids Lancashire, we cannot thank Farleys Solicitors enough for their ongoing support and generosity. To all the guests, thank you so much for supporting our charity and helping to support disadvantaged children and young people in our local area. The money raised cannot happen without you and your kindness.
