From Thursday 3rd April, the free family law clinics at our Blackburn, Burnley and Accrington offices will run from 4.30 to 6.30pm. The clinics, which run on a drop-in basis, allow those who work full time and are unable to attend an appointment to see a solicitor any earlier in the day.
Antonia Love, Head of Family Law, comments:
“The out of hours free clinics have been really busy since we launched them in January. However, we have noticed a trend that most people want to come and see us a bit earlier rather than later on in the evening. As such, we have changed the time to accommodate demand; in the hope that we will be able to see more clients”.
“Anybody visiting our clinic in Blackburn should also note that the clinic, and indeed the family law department, are now based at number 26 Richmond Terrace, where there are larger and more tailored facilities”.
Any aspect of family law can be discussed at the clinic, including divorce, separation, financial settlement, issues regarding children including residence and contact , prenuptial agreements, cohabitation and civil partnership.
