We’re thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the highly anticipated Accrington 10K, an iconic race that has been a staple in the community for over three decades. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, October 27th, starting at 10 am from the Altham Industrial Estate.
The 10K route offers runners a mix of scenic countryside and urban roads as it winds its way through the Accrington area.
Participants will kick off the race along Burnley Road, Altham, covering a challenging yet rewarding 2-mile stretch before entering the remaining sections of the course. One of the race’s most exciting features is the final 1.5-mile grandstand descent, which promises a thrilling finish for all competitors.
Whether you’re aiming to set a new personal best or simply taking part for the enjoyment of running, the Accrington 10K welcomes everyone. There’s even a junior race, giving young runners (up to age 15) the chance to join in on the excitement.
After crossing the finish line, all participants and supporters are invited for post-race refreshments. The celebrations will continue with a raffle and prize presentation for the top finishers.
