Mark your calendars, Blackburn’s much-anticipated Beer and Gin Festival is making a vibrant return this spring. Hosted at the familiar and welcoming grounds of Blackburn Rugby Club, the festival is back for another unforgettable weekend of good times, great company, and a worthy cause.
This year’s event will run across the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 May, offering three full days of flavour packed experiences, community celebration, and local pride. Leading the charge as headline sponsor is Farleys Solicitors, joined by valued supporters Steadplan and Cube Funder, who are all helping to bring this fantastic event to life once again.
Festival attendees can look forward to sampling a vast and varied range of drinks. Whether you’re a fan of hoppy craft ales, refreshing lagers, crisp ciders, aromatic gins, or smooth wines, there’s something to satisfy every taste. The drinks selection will be perfectly complemented by a tempting array of street food options served up by local vendors, ensuring that no one goes hungry while enjoying the festivities.
Live music will fill the air throughout the weekend, creating a lively backdrop as guests relax, connect with friends, and make the most of the long weekend. One of the festival highlights is set to take place on Saturday night, when the enthusiastic Farleys team will be stepping behind the bar to serve up pints with a smile.
All proceeds from the festival will go directly to Blackburn Youth Zone, a local charity that works tirelessly to support young people across the town. Through mentoring, education, and empowerment, the charity aims to equip the next generation with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Tickets are just £5 and can be purchased through the Blackburn Beer Festival website. Come for the drinks, stay for the atmosphere, and help support a brilliant local cause.
