REBECCA Hindle, Rachael Jenner, Damien Pickup and Toni Livesey have all recently completed their training contracts with Lancashire firm Farleys Solicitors LLP.
Despite the gloomy economic climate, all four have been taken on as solicitors within the firm’s various departments, a testament to both their ability and proven worth to the company.
Rebecca now works permanently in the firm’s busy Commercial Litigation department. Managing her own caseload and assisting partner Kieran O’Connor, Rebecca works out of the Commercial department’s dedicated offices in Shadsworth business park.
Joining Rebecca, is Rachael, now also working from the same offices. Rachael works for the Commercial Corporate team on complex business deals and takeovers.
Damien joins the Criminal Law department as a solicitor and is based in Farleys’ Blackburn centre offices. Focussing on police station and magistrates court work, the team Damien joins is part of one of the largest suppliers of criminal law legal aid in Lancashire.
Toni joined Farleys over 10 years ago as a secretary in the firm’s Family Law department. Clever, interested in the work she was doing and assisting with, keen to progress and determined, Toni’s efforts have recently paid off. After completing her ‘seats’ in the firm’s various departments, required of her in order to qualify, Toni has returned to the Family Law department as a solicitor. The department now boasts 12 full time lawyers, assisted by 3 trainees, demonstrating the quality of the work produced by its ability to grow in today’s tough economic times.
