Farleys Solicitors presented a cheque to Darwen Spartans football club this week in support of a planned charity trip to coach football in The Gambia. Daniel Draper, sports law solicitor at Farleys, presented the cheque to Kyle Jackson and Lewis Atkinson from Darwen Spartans JFC .The pair were inspired to travel to the African country to coach after their club donated 100kg of kit to under-privileged children in May and aim to travel undertake their coaching trip early next year.
Kyle and Lewis have already secured £1000 in lottery funding for the project, and Farleys have donated a further £250, half of the remaining amount needed to fund the trip.

“It is excellent to see grass roots teams such as the Spartans supporting sport in developing countries. The coaching in The Gambia will be a rewarding and unforgettable experience for all involved.”
