Solicitors from Farleys are to give their time free of charge to help raise funds for East Lancs Hospice this month. Farleys are once again participating in the hospice’s annual Will Week, which will run from 21st October to 25th October.
Phil Taylor, Head of Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning at Farleys commented:
“Statistics indicate that a staggering 61% of people in the UK die without a valid will; two thirds of which are reported to have children under the age of 18. Although it is something none of us like to think about, having a will in place will ensure that upon our death, our wishes regarding our estates, and property or prized possessions, are carried out.
“Even where people have made a will in the past, if their circumstances have changed at all in respect of their home, or family life, their existing will may no longer be appropriate for their needs.
“The will week event for East Lancs Hospice allows people to get up to date in terms of their will, whilst helping to raise funds for this fantastic charity. Farleys have participated in the scheme previously and are proud to continue our support of such a worthwhile local cause”.
In order to take advantage of the scheme, you will need to register for a pack from East Lancs Hospice. This can be done either by visiting their website, or calling them on 01254 733410.
