The Chambers and Partners 2021 rankings have been announced and sees Farleys’ family and matrimonial department moved up to Band 3 in recognition of their excellent work in the sector in the past 12 months.

Antonia Love, head of the family team, has also been recognised, once again retaining her Band 3 ranking. Antonia was described as having “a vast knowledge and is tenacious and unrelenting in the quest for solutions and resolution,” adding: “She has the ability to extract sensitive and relevant information with compassion and understanding. Her commitment to clients is phenomenal.”

Elsewhere at the firm, our nationally recognised crime department has received Band 1 rankings for crime and financial crime. Within the team, Partner Paul Schofield has been ranked in Band 1 again, Associate Partner Bridgette Hibbert in Band 2 and Laura Walmsley, also an Associate Partner, has received an improved ranking in Band 3 this year.

Paul was described as “very calm, measured and an incisive solicitor.” “He is an outstanding lawyer with superb client-handling skills. He is a no-nonsense lawyer who gets straight to the issues.” “He is a superb solicitor who brings real tenacity, thoroughness and experience to cases.”

Finally, Farleys’ personal injury department is ranked in Band 3 with Partner Jonathan Bridge receiving a Band 2 placing receiving the following comments;

“Jonathan’s strengths are that he pursues the claim no matter how long it takes, he does not give up on a claim and he has good interpersonal skills.” “He has excellent client skills and is hugely experienced in this area.”
