Congratulations to Farleys Solicitors ’ Head of Corporate Debbie King, who has been nominated for the second year running as Legal Advisor of the Year at the second annual Lancashire Women in Business Awards, having won the award at last year’s ceremony.
Hosted by Downtown in Business, the awards are a celebration of female business leadership around Lancashire, with an impressive line up of nominees from the county’s leading business individuals. This years ceremony takes place on Friday 25 November at the Park Hall Hotel, Charnock Richard.
Having originally set up Farleys dedicated Corporate team, Debbie now specialises in business and company acquisitions takeovers and sales, complex restructures of groups of companies, investments, joint ventures and mergers. Over the last twelve months, Debbie and her team has been involved in a number of high profile transactions, including providing legal support to Andy Holt and What More UK Limited on their investment into Accrington Stanley; and advising local printing business Calderprint on a number of acquisitions.
Commenting on her nomination Debbie said: “I’m delighted to have been nominated for the second year running as Legal Advisor of the Year in Lancashire. Farleys’ roots are held firmly in the region and to be recognised alongside Lancashire’s finest means a great deal to us and the clients we represent. Good luck to all other nominees and I look forward to seeing everyone at the event”.
Unlike other awards 50 percent of the outcome is down to public vote, which places the decision firmly in the region’s hands. If you have worked with Debbie and think she is a deserving winner click on the link below to show your support – it only takes a moment!
