Jane joined as a partner in Farleys Insolvency Team in 2024, following lengthy periods as a partner with two Lancashire law firms, preceded by a decade with a city centre law firm. Jane has over 30 years of experience, specialising in corporate insolvency, formal insolvency procedures, related claims, court applications and recovery work. She represents financiers, insolvency practitioners, management and creditors, dealing with issues arising in connection with distressed businesses.
Jane has particular expertise in dealing with business acquisitions/disposals, and advising boards on directors’ duties and restructuring processes. She also has extensive experience of advising insolvency practitioners, companies, lenders and borrowers in connection with a wide range of issues relating to loan facilities and reviews of security, together with enhancement and enforcement of security.
In addition to insolvency related court applications, Jane deals with Companies Act applications, including extensions for registrations of charges, company restorations, and rectifications of documents filed at Companies House.
