Associate

Armin is an Associate in Farleys’ Insolvency team, supporting clients across a broad range of insolvency and commercial recovery matters. His experience within the department allows him to provide practical, commercially focused advice to businesses, insolvency practitioners and individuals navigating complex financial challenges.

Armin joined Farleys in May 2023 as a Commercial Executive within the Insolvency team, having already secured a place on the firm’s trainee solicitor programme. During his training contract, he undertook seats in both the Corporate and Insolvency departments before returning to the Insolvency team to qualify as a solicitor. This experience has given him a strong understanding of both contentious and non-contentious commercial matters, enabling him to deliver well-rounded advice to clients.

In addition to his insolvency practice, Armin has experience in sports regulatory matters, acting for clubs, players and other individuals in disputes and regulatory proceedings before a range of governing bodies. He advises and represents parties in disciplinary, regulatory and compliance matters across the sports sector.

Alongside his legal career, Armin sits as a Chairperson on the Football Association’s National Serious Case Panel, which adjudicates some of the most complex and sensitive disciplinary matters in English football, including cases involving allegations of serious misconduct and discrimination.
