Associate

Armin is an Associate in Farleys’ Insolvency team, supporting clients across a broad range of insolvency and commercial recovery matters. His experience within the department allows him to provide practical, commercially focused advice to businesses, insolvency practitioners and individuals navigating complex financial challenges.

Armin joined Farleys in May 2023 as a Commercial Executive within the Insolvency team. He was subsequently awarded a place on the firm’s trainee solicitor programme, undertaking seats in both the Corporate and Insolvency departments before returning to the Insolvency team to qualify as a solicitor. This experience has given him a strong understanding of both contentious and non-contentious commercial matters, enabling him to deliver well-rounded advice to clients.

Prior to joining Farleys, Armin studied at the University of Central Lancashire, graduating with a Distinction in Master of Laws. His dissertation explored the regulation of performance-enhancing drugs in football and compared the approaches taken by football’s governing bodies with those of other sports.

Before beginning his career at Farleys, Armin gained valuable experience as a paralegal at both a residential property law firm and a commercial law firm in Manchester city centre.

Alongside his legal career, Armin is a member of The Football Association’s National Serious Case Panel, which adjudicates some of the most complex and sensitive disciplinary matters in English football, including cases involving allegations of serious misconduct and discrimination.
