Ella is a Solicitor in Farleys’ Insolvency and Commercial Litigation department based at the firm’s Preston office. In this role she covers both contentious and non-contentious matters across personal and corporate insolvency, on behalf of insolvency practitioners, directors, creditors and debtors. Ella also assists clients involved in commercial litigation cases involving, amongst other things, debt recovery, director and shareholder disputes, property disputes and breaches of contract.
Ella also specialises in advising clients in relation to equine disputes. She advises both buyers and sellers in disputes relating to the purchase and sale of horses and also assists clients in relation to non-contentious equine matters such as the drafting of sale contracts, livery contracts and other equine agreements. Ella is a keen equestrian herself and looks to bring a personalised approach to her equine work and connect to her clients on a personal level.
Ella joined the Insolvency and Commercial Litigation team in our Preston office for her first seat as a trainee solicitor in September 2019. After gaining valuable experience in other departments and offices across the firm, Ella re-joined the Insolvency and Commercial Litigation team in April 2021 for her final seat before she qualified as a solicitor in September 2021.
Prior to joining Farleys, Ella graduated Salford University in the class of 2018 with a First-Class Honours degree in Law. She then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course with a commendation at the University of Law in Manchester.
