Head of Family Law - Wigan
Andrew is a family law solicitor with over 30 years of experience advising clients on divorce and financial settlements. He joined Farleys as part of the firm’s acquisition of Alker Ball Healds in April 2025.
Andrew believes in providing a common-sense, cost-effective approach to family legal problems by combining excellent technical knowledge with a tough but fair negotiating style. A realistic appraisal of cases is undertaken following a thorough investigation of relevant facts and, where possible, a negotiated settlement is obtained. Where settlement is not possible, then court proceedings are conscientiously conducted with the client kept informed of costs regularly.
Away from the office, Andrew’s interests are Rugby League, travel, and spending time with his family and two dogs. His ideal day out would be a day at Bangor races with a couple of long-priced winners when it’s not raining (and maybe even if it is).
