Trainee Solicitor
Amy joined Farleys in July 2021 as a Litigation Executive in our Actions Against Detaining Authorities Department. She has since begun her Training Contract with us, completing her first seats with the AADA and commercial litigation teams. She is now undertaking her third seat within the corporate team based across our Shadsworth and Manchester offices.
Prior to joining Farleys, Amy graduated from Newcastle University with a First-Class Degree in Law with International Legal Studies. During this time, she completed an exchange year at McGill University in Canada, where she studied various fields of domestic and international law.
Amy assists Clients in bringing civil claims for sexual, physical and/or emotional abuse that they have suffered. This includes claims against local authorities for abuse suffered in the care system, against schools for abuse perpetrated by teachers, and sporting institutions for abuse carried out by coaches
