Farleys’ corporate law team have successfully advised Worsley-based Leasing Options on their acquisition of Allied Vehicle Contracts for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition cements Leasing Options’ position one of the UK’s largest, most well-established vehicle leasing brokers and forms part of a wider ongoing business development programme to assist further growth within the fleet leasing sector in the UK.

Allied Vehicle Contracts’ former owner David Whitehead, who founded the business in 1997, will join the Leasing Options management team as director of operations.

Nigel Brain CEO and co-founder of Leasing Options, said:

“This is an exciting time for Leasing Options, and we are delighted to announce this significant development for the business. We believe the combined strengths and synergies derived from the integration will enable us to compete at the highest level in the UK fleet sector, bolstering our established presence in the B2B marketplace.”

Richard Bell of Farleys’ corporate team based in Manchester advised the Leasing Options on the corporate aspects of the acquisition.

Richard commented:

It was a pleasure to advise Nigel and the team at Leasing Options as well as work alongside Paul Spencer at Haworths Accountants, on this deal. The acquisition makes really good commercial sense when you consider the general synergy and the benefits of integrating the parties’ respective technologies.

This will no doubt add to the continuing growth and the success of the company well into the future. It will be really exciting to see what Leasing Options do next.
