Farleys Senior Associate Amy Duncan has been named as a finalist at the Manchester Young Talent Awards 2026.
Amy, who is part of Farleys’ Corporate Law team, has been shortlisted in the Legal Professional of the Year category, which recognises talented young professionals making a positive impact in the legal sector.
Organised annually by JCI Manchester, the Manchester Young Talent Awards celebrate individuals aged 18 to 40 from across Greater Manchester who are excelling in their careers and contributing to the wider business community. The 2026 awards ceremony will take place on Friday 30 October at The Edwardian Manchester Hotel.
Amy joined Farleys as a commercial executive in 2020 before securing a place on the firm’s training programme and qualifying as a solicitor in 2022. She has since progressed within the firm and was promoted to Senior Associate, advising business owners and companies on a range of corporate and commercial matters.
Her work includes supporting clients with company sales and acquisitions, restructuring, shareholder arrangements and general corporate governance matters. She is known for her practical advice, attention to detail and calm approach when guiding clients through important business decisions.
Speaking about her nomination, Amy said:
I’m really pleased to have been shortlisted for Legal Professional of the Year at the Manchester Young Talent Awards. Since joining Farleys, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, build lasting relationships and lead an increasing number of significant corporate transactions. To be recognised in this category is a real honour, and I’m grateful to my colleagues and clients for their continued support and encouragement throughout my career so far.
The winners will be announced at the Manchester Young Talent Awards ceremony taking place on Friday 30th October bringing together finalists and businesses from across the region to celebrate the next generation of talent.
